Its pretty quiet here,i live comfortable and so far i haven't had any major problems.. Maintenance its ok but the only thing i don't like at all is the way they bill you for water and sewer..first year i was here i left my apartment very clean but i guess that was not enought for them and they still bill me for some bullshiet fees..on the other hand they work with you pretty good if you are late with rent, obviously you still gotta pay the late fees but they work with you..so yea this places can be good and bad in some areas.

when my family and I first moved here, I thought it was pretty ok. it wasn't to noisy, when I needed something fixed, maintenance responded in a timely fashion. its been six months living here and I am second guessing renewing my lease here. the security guard is very rude. if I am outside wanting to have a cigarette at night, he sits in his car shining his head lights at me until I go inside. and if I don't move fast enough, he drives up to the sidewalk and tells me to go inside. another issue I have is, there are dumpster divers that come in the middle of the night from 12 at midnight to 5am. and with in those hours, the security guard is NEVER there. it is his job to prevent those people from coming in the middle of the night and throwing trash around and about in the parking lot yet all he does is drive around looking for tenants who quietly smoke cigarettes in the night just to tell them to go back inside. there are ants in the apartment, and the carpet was really dirty when we moved in. so dirty that we washed it and the carpet was still dirty after. if they washed it and we washed it, and the carpet was still dirty, shouldn't they have thought to put new carpeting in the apartment? the décor is really dated. brown doors. brown trim and carpeting. there was a hole in the bathroom door when we moved in. a burn mark in the linoleum in the bathroom floor. after living here for six months, I really want to reconsider living here next year.

I've lived here since February of 2012, so not terribly long, but once my lease is up I do not plan to stay, though my reasons are more personal (I don't enjoy being so close to the train tracks because the traisn get very loud and they do vibrate the apartments if you are closer to the tracks and while I have never seen a mouse or rat in my apartment or on the complex at all, being so close to the chanel and the fields out there, I do get some spiders in my apartment and all the grass and weeds aggrevate my allergies) I would recommend Riverbank to another, the staff is friendly, repairs are made promptly, and the property is kept clean. I moved here from the Bay Area and was surprised. I did not realize that Townehome and the surrounding area was so... not respectable (for lack of a better word). But despite the drug dealing down the street and the other activity that takes place jsut down the way, the Riverbank complex is safe. I've nevr had issues with crime nor known anyone else to. My big complaints regarding Riverbank is that the rules are not very well enforced. Nosie is supposed to be reduced after 10pm, yet I can hear my downstairs neighbor's bass thumping away well into the early hours of the morning, additionally my lease states that no dogs are allowed on the property, yet my husband and I have stepped in dog poop more than once.
