I've lived here since February of 2012, so not terribly long, but once my lease is up I do not plan to stay, though my reasons are more personal (I don't enjoy being so close to the train tracks because the traisn get very loud and they do vibrate the apartments if you are closer to the tracks and while I have never seen a mouse or rat in my apartment or on the complex at all, being so close to the chanel and the fields out there, I do get some spiders in my apartment and all the grass and weeds aggrevate my allergies)
I would recommend Riverbank to another, the staff is friendly, repairs are made promptly, and the property is kept clean.
I moved here from the Bay Area and was surprised. I did not realize that Townehome and the surrounding area was so... not respectable (for lack of a better word). But despite the drug dealing down the street and the other activity that takes place jsut down the way, the Riverbank complex is safe. I've nevr had issues with crime nor known anyone else to.
My big complaints regarding Riverbank is that the rules are not very well enforced. Nosie is supposed to be reduced after 10pm, yet I can hear my downstairs neighbor's bass thumping away well into the early hours of the morning, additionally my lease states that no dogs are allowed on the property, yet my husband and I have stepped in dog poop more than once.
